  • Interesting and entertaining this museum has many displays inside and outside. Staff pointed out that dredging was going on in the dock and that was good to see . Staff were nice and informative...

  • Disappointing visit with grandson today. Not enough interaction exhibits to keep him entertained. Top floor not open and boats outside not exiting. Boat trips also not running.

  • The Afternoon Tea is outstanding. You need to ring and book in advance and it is worth it. There is so much food and it is all delicious. It all tasted like it was handmade and there was plenty of...

  • Great day out and good value even in this time of watching every penny. The Boat trip was wonderful and well informed regarding its history as a Little Ship at Dunkirk. Good place for children, pets and those with wheelchair needs although might be a issue getting on board the boat.
  • Pay the extra for the boat trip, you won't be disappointed! Friendly team working there. Some good exhibits; we especially liked watching the talking-head videos/interviews with gentlemen that had worked the canals. Good price cafe just inside the entrance with seating inside and out. We went as a couple (no kids with us) and would recommend to anyone spending some time in Gloucester.
  • Great place to know history about docks. Once you buy the ticket, it will be valid for a whole year and you can visit it as many times as you want.... How amazing!!! It's a huge place to cover in a day, if you are also visiting other places in Gloucester, so plan your day accordingly.
  • Very informative museum, lots to see regarding canals and waterways, good history of waterways in and around Gloucester. The surrounding area around museum, the rejuvanation of the docks is fantastic, the old warehouses may have been altered from their original purpose but are still emblazoned with their original warehouse names, lots to see and do.
  • Great museum on canal history and Gloucester's place in it. Super trip around the dock and up the canal on a little Dunkirk boat.
