The Old Man of Storr, Isle of Skye

Stunning views here. Definitely not an easy hike but it is not hard. Would give it a medium difficulty hike. If you are not fit enough and fat like me you can definitely take breaks to enjoy the scenery.

Probably my favorite hike we did on the Isle of Skye! It was absolutely beautiful and the landscape is incredible. It was a good hike and a bit of a challenge- some areas are a bit steeper than others and it was pretty muddy. We went in March and it was pretty cold and windy. Otherwise, I’d definitely recommend visiting here, it was amazing! I think you may have to pay for parking here.

Hike was filled with easy to climb stairs. Can get a bit muddy at parts depending on which route you decide to take. The top route is easier on the way down since it's more gradually steep. Viewpoint is about 40 minutes away nonstop.

Absolutely stunning location! The other review writers must be a lot fitter than me, because the walk up (50mins to the best photography spot) was the most challenging walk I've done in a long time. It is steep hills and steps the entire way up and I literally had to lay down on the steps halfway and didn't think I would make it. Others have said that anyone could do it and the walk is easy, I disagree. If you're able bodied and fit then you can do it, otherwise it will be a real challenge. If you are able to do the walk, the view is incredible and definitely worth it.

Absolutely stunning! Lovely walk to the old man! Me and my partner have wanted to visit for years as massive fans of prometheus! We took our Drone and got some incredible shots. Best get there early to beat the crowds and for parking. Wear sensible shoes and clothing!! Highly recommend if your visiting Skye.
