  • The maze was better than expected, which was a good job really as the salmon centre was closed, there's nothing really to see at Kielder Castle and most of the walking routes are still closed...

  • This maze is small and easy. It’s good for kids. Really good hide and seek place. Worth a stop if you have kids.

  • Just down from the castle to the right is the maze. Was great fun trying to find the glass section. Lots of corners with a step up so you can have a peek over the top to get your bearings. Great game....  more

  • Excellent place to go to, we done the green walk which was was a good distance for my 4 year old son. There was things for him to look for and the gruffalo was there too. An excellent day out .
  • Nice walks around woods and river and cafe inside castle is reasonably priced. Minotaur maze is smaller than expected, but it's fun and free
  • Wow what a place. The house and grounds tell the story of the first house to be powered by hydro electric power. The house is an Arts and Crafts building and many of the rooms decorated in this style. The grounds are amazing, in fact in some places its like an enchanted garden. There is info on the way the house was electrified but my husband was a little disapointed that there was not more technical info available. There is a 6 mile carraige drive around the grounds well worth driving at the end of your visit.
  • A unique maze of stone walls, with dead ends. Great fun.
  • Great idea. Spent a good half hour exploring.
