Napoleons, Leeds

Wow! First time ever at Napoleon's. Had a fantastic time. Highly recommended. We had a 3 course meal, £27 including a drink and a £5 betting chip. Such a fantastic offer. Would happily have paid £30+ for the food alone. The food was amazing, would expect this standard in a high end restaurant/Hotel. Highly recommended. Food menu caters well for Gluten Free, vegetarian options. Honestly nicest food I've had in a long time. Can't wait to go again, especially as the menu changes each month so always something new to try.

Since I last visited Napolean’s in the good old days when there was a 25p chip table, the prices have shot up. We arrived around 5pm and found that even the 50p table wasn’t up and running. We asked if it could be opened but the pit boss said it would be after 7pm. We played a while on the £1 tables and come 7pm he changed it to 8pm. By then we’d finished and headed home. Not sure why they couldn’t open the 50p table. I’m sure there’s a good reason. Two croupiers were stood at empty black jack tables twiddling their bored-looking thumbs so surely one of them could have covered it. At £1 a chip it’s now too pricey. We could last a while on the 25p table and whilst we’re there, we would be buying a glass of wine, a pint, maybe even go for a burger. Now, I think our time at Naps has ended and they can serve the elite / hardcore that they seem to be aiming for. On the plus side, the food as usual was terrific. I might still pop in for a meal if passing but will leave the tables to others.

The food in this place is fantastic, the menu has a good variety of choices and the prices are very reasonable for the quality of food you will receive. The service staff are polite, friendly, and knowledgeable about the menu items. Once you have been here you will go again. Well done to all the restaurant and kitchen staff, you are doing a great job.
