  • Always great to visit John Lennons old house when in Liverpool, the last time I visited I went inside booked through the national trust, it’s like stepping back in time, if you are a true Beatles fan....  more

  • Very interesting for Beatles fans. The tour guide was very knowledgeable, and clearly loved his job telling the story of John’s life at Mendips. Loved it.

  • The National Trust tour also includes the teenage home of Paul McCartney. It is quite an amazing experience and provides fascinating and moving insight into the formative years at the very start of the Beatles. The tour guide was extremely knowledgeable and it felt quite a privilege to be part of one of the small groups being allowed to walk into the world of the teenage John Lennon.
  • Absolutely must see for the John Lennon's and the Beatles fans. Quiet neighborhood, few minutes away by car from the Liverpool's city centre. If you're there you can visit as well legendary Strawberry Fields and Eleanor Rigby's grave. Highly recommended.
  • Fabulous. Fantastic. Preserved just as it was when he lived here with Aunt Mimi. The National Trust tour was great and the guide Colin, a fountain of knowledge. Only disapointment was not being able to take any photos inside the house and memory only now has to serve, but all in all Brilliant.
  • It's the best guided tour. Lovely stories from the guide that knew the beetles. It's a must if you are a fan.
  • Need to book in advance at the National Trust website but the ticket includes tours of Lennon & McCartney's childhood homes. Guides are incredibly knowledgeable and this is a precious piece of Beatles history forever preserved by the National Trust.
