Gwinllan Conwy Ltd, Llandudno Junction

Running a vineyard in North Wales must be quite the endeavour, but Gwinllan appear to be honest and working hard to produce the best wine they possibly can -- and it's very good indeed! We particularly enjoyed the Solaris. Sarah was a lovely, friendly tour guide and her passion and knowledge came through throughout the experience and made sure we all got immersed in what it takes to manage a vineyard. We also tried the cheeseboard which was a real treat and well curated. I'm not sure who wouldn't enjoy a visit to Gwinllan, so of course it's highly recommended from us!

Great vineyard tour. Owner Colin must have conducted hundreds of tours but delivers the information with passion humour and personableness. His knowledge and appreciation of wine is palpable but not overblown or pretentious, he understands and expresses that it is something that accompanies wonderful life experiences, not conjures them. The wines themselves are fantastic and the information about the formation of the vineyard is engrossing and heartening. Highly recommended.

We've done a number of vineyard tours around the world but this was the best and most enjoyable to date. Amazingly on our doorstep too! Host Colin is very knowlegeable but the story behind this fairly new, award winning vineyard in north Wales is truly remarkable. Visited this Vineyard in North Wales with my mother and sister. Absolutely fantastic!!! The tour was well structured and very very informative! I have been to a vineyard in the past in Melbourne, but this one topped it! We were in a group of 15 people, the women leading the tour was well educated about the vineyard and how it works and was able to answer any questions we had. Amazing! Would definitely recommend to anyone visiting North Wales or living in Wales. It is most definitely one of Wales' hidden treasures!!

Great time hearing about the vineyard and the wines plus tasting some excellent wine and food. A thoroughly enjoyable, informative and entertaining afternoon.
