My wife, daughter and I took a dim sum class this past weekend with Will from the London Cookery School. My daughter purchased this class for us as a Christmas gift, all of us to do together. The experience was far better than I had imagined. Will – the instructor and owner of the school – is an excellent instructor. He was engaging and entertaining, and the three hour experience passed very fast as a result. We love dim sum, and this is absolutely the perfect introductory class. We got to eat what we made at the end, and that was the real cherry on the cake. We are all keen to develop our skills at home for dim sum, and Will got us off to a flying start. We might go back and try the school’s sushi prep class too, because if it is of the same calibre as the dim sum class, it would be outstanding. I highly recommend this class. You will find your afternoon with Will delightful, and you will leave with an excellent knowledge of how to make dim sum. It is a great way to spend a half day with friends or family.

I was bought a sushi making experience as a gift and it was brilliant. Will taught us and he was so enthusiastic, detailed and clear. The sushi was great, you get to make loads and then eat it all after!

My boyfriend and I had a dimsum class with Will and it was amazing. Will explains everything in details and is very patient, going through the preparation of dimsum step by step. The ingredients used were extra fresh and the har gow were the best I have ever tasted. Really fun activity!

Will is a fantastic teacher, and we had a great evening making sushi! The class is well paced, easy to understand for beginners and you will definitely come out of it with some delicious food, and great new skills. I would recommend this to any sushi fans, and am keen to come back for a dim sum class too!

We did the Dim Sum class this weekend and had an absolute ball! Will is such a fantastic teacher - he was energetic and enthusiastic as well as patient (especially when I was taking a million years to finish my prawn har gow!). It was such a fun day activity for a couple and the end result was delicious despite both of us being complete beginners. We were absolutely stuffed by the time we left, with big grins on our faces. Thank you so much Will for such a great day.
