So glad we stopped here before going home after our holiday!! We had been staying at fawcett mill so just had to bring back some local food! we bought the most amazing pork pies, breads, tomatoes...

We were recommended to visit the Farmers Market in Orton on the 2nd Saturday each month. We were so lucky to go this month as we found it was the Christmas Market. I suspect it would be worth a visit.... more

We found this market by browsing the Internet while on holiday locally. Plenty of variety of artisan wares available. I purchased a bespoke bread board, handmade soap, some goats cheeses, venison burgers and pork sausages. Lovely chatting to the stall holders who were extremely knowledgeable about their products. Would definitely recommend a visit.

Great market. Local produce, eggs, meat, vegetables. Also other handmade and homemade products. I had goat curry today with rice and peas. Oh it was so good, I can't wait to see if the lady is back next month. Chicken sausage was good too from a stall.

Great place to buy all groceries! Lovely community and food! Perfect place for everyone! Especially to show everyone how important buying and eating local food and other items! Flowers are amazing last over 2 weeks scent and look!

Excellent, dinky high quality farmers market every second Saturday each month. Terrific for local meat, pies, cheese, art and crafty stuff and veg/fruit. Not the cheapest but the quality is really there: Dexter beef, venison, Kitridding pies and bacon, Westmoreland Zpepper curd's cheese. Go go go!
