Instead she draws on the bloody, gruesome and fascinating history of this ancient city. She keeps her audience thoroughly entertained and laughing the whole time! She even tries to keep everyone safe on your walks to the various locations throughout the evening. If you're interested in the history of this unique city, this tour is well worth your time and money.

Took a tour with Mad Alice after a very long day today, so i was a bit out of gas, but Mad Alice delivered a great performance and energy throughout the trip. She is also knowledgeable with all the facts and stories. Very engaging with her audience as well. While waiting for the tour to start, I had a chance to see a few of similar tours, and I would highly recommend this if you are looking for a high energy booster to keep you engage and sink those horror stories in your brain!

I did the tour last year (Feb 2022) for my Birthday and it was amazing. So informative and ‘Alice’ was genuinely amazing. She was so funny and easily approachable. I had emailed prior to my visit with some concerns regarding wanting to do the tour and the dungeons in the same evening. She replied promptly and with all the information I needed. Would highly recommend to anyone!

We really enjoyed our tour with Mad Alice: the 90 minutes walk through York is absolutely worth its price. Mad Alice is really entertaining, customer oriented and hilariously funny. She is an amazing performer and she shares lots and lots of historical bits as well as “dark” tales about York. We definitely recommend her!
