  • The house is beautiful as are the stories that go with it. The tour was wonderful. This home is not your typical mansion where they say don't touch. You are allowed to sit and listen to the many...

  • A wonderful experience! 5 stars! Not only is this a stunningly beautiful house, it is not really a museum but is a tour of someone's actual house. The architect is the same one who designed the State Capitol and Frank Lloyd Wright had some input into interior design after the house was built. On top of that, this house was wired by Edison and featured some very new innovations of the St. Louis World's Fair at the turn of the century. This was well worth a visit.
  • A strikingly beautiful mansion. The guide is very knowledgeable about each part of the home and property. We were able to listen to an Edison cylinder on an old phonograph...which was so special. The guide also played the Steinway piano and the organ...which was very enjoyable. We also were able to bowl in their bowling alley...so cool!
  • The passion behind the tour was incredible. The house was beautiful and very well kept, love this little gem and can't wait to see it during Christmas! I highly recommend 10/10 so much history with this home and the locals.
  • If you like local and Kansas history, this is a great stop. The hosts are great at telling the story.
  • my cousin invited me to visit her at Wichita and toured me to this extra beautiful mansion with 25 rooms in it. Agas! Amazing for it was really preserved well. Beautifully highly decorated with truly expensive, gold collecrions and wares inside that historic 1905 mansion.
