The loop continues another 5.6 km (3.5 mi) to the summit of Mount Cadillac, at 466 m (1,530 ft) high, for fantastic panoramas of the Acadian skyline. Great views along the road, especially when passing the ocean. However, the NPS closes the road, except for 2 small parts, from 12/1-4/15 every year. Many National Parks remain open all year and only.... more
