Bald Point State Park, Alligator Point

This was one of the most beautiful parks that I have ever been too. I have to say that this is one of my favorite places on earth. It's so quiet to walk along the white sandy beaches with the warm Gulf breezes blowing. Life can be so cruel to give you glimpses of a different lifestyle that is not always obtainable. This walk can be so sad, yet so serene, so beautiful. I walked for about an hour, dipping my toes and collecting shells for my grand kids for beachy crafts. I can't wait to go again, but can't help looking out wondering if this is my last glimpse of true beauty? Goodness, I hope not!!!

This is a great beach to have nice waves and some privacy. Great for a picnic but bring all your own gear and stuff. Closest commercial is 10 miles away. You can walk up and down this beach for a few miles. Lots of crabs.

There really isn't enough parking or ample facilities here, but, that is also part of the charm and draw to the place. Difficult for it to get crowded without anole parking. Decent beach. No surf. Lots of sun and fairly unspoiled dunes and ecosystem. If you want a more private beach type feel, this is your spot. Get there early to lock in a nice parking spot.

Beautiful place for a peaceful walk/wade, went in early March 2022. Porta-Potties were clean. The beach was clean and quiet, if very thin from dune to water at some points. Biting gnats were out, full-force, anywhere that wasn't the beach. This State Park is located on an inlet, so the water is murky with lots of wildlife, wouldn't recommend if swimming is your goal. If that's the case, I'd recommend driving down to the Alligator Point Public Beach where the water has less river contents in it.

I love this beach. Clean facilities and rarely very busy. The water is typically a little “stirred up” with some seaweed and can get very warm but it’s usually calm. Lots of wildlife- birds, crabs, mullet, even deer! I usually stay all day
