Reid's Livery Winery, Alvaton

What a hidden gem this place is. Absolutely beautiful and the owners are super nice. They are down to earth and just awesome. We loved sitting outside and enjoying looking at the animals. The horses are so beautiful. The wine is some of the best wine I've had. We bought 3 bottles and were going to order more soon.

Our favorite winery! We drove 9 hours from PA to visit after finding this treasure on our way home from our honeymoon 3 years ago! Rex and Diane are awesome hosts. Love the farm and all the animals, too. The wines are all flavorful and some quite complex. We bought 2 cases this trip! Call ahead because they have a working farm and do need notice. But it is well worth a visit-notice the 9 hour drive!

Wonderful place to stay for a night in Alvaton, Ky. Their property is beautiful. Rex and Diane are fabulous hosts!!! Definitely staying with them again!!!!

Me and my fiance visited this location and almost every wine we tasted was amazing. This is by far the best wine tasting location we have ever been to. The wine is made to perfection the flavors are blended perfectly we love the sweeter wines but even the ones who are not sweet are still tasty . It's all about preference. But I promise there's a wine for everyone to enjoy if not several. The area is beautiful the couple are also very friendly and make u feel comfy and at home. You would never think it's a wine tasting area but I think the area and the look makes it even more intriguing. We called ahead due to running late and they stayed open a little extra just for us . Excellent customer service and atmosphere is just a one of a kind. I hope to visit again to purchase a few bottles of our favorites.

What a gem! We stopped here on our way home and are so glad we did. The wines are exceptional and have won many awards. The owners were so fun to talk to during the tasting. I would highly recommend this place!
