John Storvik Playground, Anacortes

We were visiting from out of town and stopped by to play, and boy am I glad we picked this one! We have kids ages one to six and they had a blast. At one point my 6 year old poked his head out of one of the portholes in the pirate ship and yelled "THIS PARK IS AWESOME!" (this coming from the kid who rarely enjoys things if its not on a screen 😉). Splash pad was closed because it was November, but that look pretty cool too. There's also a sign with pictures of the park construction, which was done by the community - my thanks go out to those folks who gave our family a fun afternoon on our trip!

Super cool playground for kids. It's huge and has a play area for small kids and big kids as well as a water splash pad.

This place is so creative and cute for kids to play in! A thoughtful, caring team put a lot of heart and work into this playground. A pirate ship for kids to play in, adorable drawings of an octopus and dragon. A stage to let kids use their imagination and have fun. Sand pit to play in, swings, a play house and cute splash pad! Definitely worth letting kids play, learn, and explore!

Nice, clean park with plenty of play space and a splash pad for summer. Large play field, basketball court, facilities, large concrete pad, and plenty of parking. All-ages playground with lots of variety and even has a play stage, surrounded by plenty of tables and benches. Single covered area for parties. Pretty ideal, well-designed park.

One of the most exciting parks I've been to. It has a great paly ground structure and tons of shade for people to sit and relax in. It also has a great open field for all the people who wave dogs. Overall one of the best parks I've ever been to
