Disney's Aladdin - A Musical Spectacular, Anaheim

I went last Saturday and absolutely loved it. When you see the show make sure you go to the earlier showings because I like the Jasmine and Aladdin from the afternoon over the evening. It is a show that is okay for kids but more for an adult viewing, then again it is California Adventure and if you want little kids show go to Disneyland. The Genie is so hilarious. As you can see the reviews that were very poor were from years ago. I just really recommend it. I even went to go see it twice on the same day. Best view is from the top.

Aladdin was released when I was 2 years old (now I am 24), and I fondly remember it as one of those movies that take me back to my wonderful childhood days. The play took me back to those magical days and how. The show was absolutely perfect! I was blown away by the quality of the sets, the masterful acting and the overall level of detail in costumes, design, acting and music. The story is known to one and all, but the music, story and acting cast a spell on all of us that was stronger than it may have been on the kids watching the show. Genie's sense of humor and pop culture references were spot on. The carpet ride, the songs, Jaffar's downfall - all were captured beautifully. This was the favorite part of my Disneyland adventure and I would recommend it highly. I had gone to Disneyland for the rides, but ended up wishing there were more shows like these.

This was my first time to a play and I was literally blown away by the production quality and set designs. The play itself was very interesting and the genie was hilarious with his up to date pop culture references. The height of the play used to be the magic carpet ride during one of the songs which I later learned is no longer is in the play ever since it broke sometime back.

This show is amazing. The Genie alone makes it worth your time. His unscripted jokes topical and relevant, which means the show is a little different every time you see it. Catch this show while you still can.

there's only a few shows so the line gets huge but luckily, the theater is pretty big. for adults, it's ac in a cool spot so they can practically snooze away while the kids watch the off broadway acting show to their delight.
