Sand Dune Arch, Arches National Park

This one is super cool!! You walk through a pretty tight canyon with soft sand and then surprise, there’s the arch. It’s a good size and lots of fun rocks to explore all around. It is in a tight canyon so it’s hard to get any photos without others. But super worth it!!!

The little hike was very easy however, but be very careful when you go in between the stones because it is narrow and slippery. Dress warm if you hiking this time of year it gets cold on some of these hikes.

One of the more unique arches the park has to offer that is enclosed in canyon-like red rocks, dusted with sand. Its like you are on a beach. This area would offer the most shade throughout the park. It is a VERY short hike and you can do this one with another so its great as a pair if you decide to that. Going to visit this arch and through the landscape is truly magical.

Way too cold and a lot of snow. We had a great time, not crowded at all. Really short hiking from the parking lot, perfect for all age kids.

Half paved half sand trail,small arch at the end. Great for kids, easy trail. This arch isn't a huge one, or special compared to the others, but nice to just be able to do a short and sweet walk to an arch without much effort. Trailhead also leads to broken arch. Lots of parking, not busy first thing in the morning.
