Lee G. Simmons Conservation Park and Wildlife Safari, Ashland

My friend and visited the Wildlife Safari Park back in June and we had a really great time. The scenery at this park is so beautiful! We loved driving through and seeing all of the animals and the wild flowers and grassy plains. There are a few places you can park and get out to view certain animals up close and there some hiking trails. I can't wait to go back again!

To be honest I wasn’t expecting much at first. But it was a big surprise to me when it wasn’t just a drive through Safari they had a goat petting zoo and many areas where you can stop stretch your legs . Let the kids play on the play spots and get unique views that you won’t see from your car windows. You can go through the safari as many times as you want so that’s nice since some people kinda ruined the fun by stopping in the middle of the road for minutes at a time causing a back log of cars sitting there. Cute gift shop with so many stuffies! Over all a great spot we will be back .

My husband and I took our kids here on a whim. We went into it not expecting too much, but they had a BLAST. Some of the birds strolled right up to the car to say hello and we got some cool pics. The gift shop was a little expensive, but not too outlandish. I would definitely recommend this safari for families with young children.

What a great place! My girlfriend and I went here and it was about 19$ altogether for us to enter - if you're looking for a little chill day then this is the place to check out. You drive your car through most of it but there is a part where you can get out and look at birds/wolves and bears which was a real blast! If you're nearby do yourself a favor and check it out (:

I love visiting the safari park and always have a fun and unique experience. Being able to drive through some areas and get out and walk through others is a nice combination and makes you feel extremely immersed in the experience. You almost forget you’re in the middle of Nebraska!
