Create an itinerary including Lithia Park
In the middle of Ashland, Lithia Park houses a forest growing along a stream. The area's high concentration of lithium oxide inspired the name of the park. Duck ponds and a Japanese Zen garden make this place particularly peaceful. There are playgrounds, tennis courts, and an ice skating rink in the winter. The park is fenced and is very dog friendly. • My husband and I decided to walk to the Japanese garden through the park, it was so clean and smelled fresh. The playground looked like so much fun for children and adults.

  • An absolutely beautiful park. Vibrant Color’s, variety of trees, great walking path, beautiful stream. The walk to do every day when you are in Ashland. The morning is the best time for a stroll.

  • Proof that with proper planning, stewardship of land can benefit the present and many future generations. This park is very beautiful, fun and romantic. Great for people of all ages! It's peacefulness and serenity are accented by the sounds of the fresh, flowing stream and the bards and musicians scattered along it. Thank you to the entire team that manages this park!
  • Possibly one of the most beautiful city parks in Oregon! The park is very well-maintained and full of hidden gems and lots of hiking paths. There’s several bridges that go over the creek and plenty of spots for a picnic. Come anytime of the year and the trees will be a different color.
  • Always a great time. Lithia Park is a beautiful place. It is well kept and Ashland Creek is lovely year round. There are plenty of trails and bridges over the creek, so it doesn't get boring.
  • One of the nicer city parks I have been to. Beautiful hiking trails and wildlife sighting. The natural ecosystem is allowed to thrive as pets are not permitted within the park. Tennis courts, amphitheater, great for walking, hiking, biking, roller blading.
  • No matter the time of year this park delights. It has so much scenery, nature, water and play features. Includes a botanical garden and something everyone will find enjoyable here... except dogs. They are not allowed.
