Momentum River Expeditions, Ashland

Two adults, two teenagers. We did the full day trip on the Upper Klamath with Katy as our guide. FANTASTIC guides, FANTASTIC food, FANTASTIC river. We will absolutely be booking another trip with them again in the future with more of our family. I know the rafting is the BIG thing, but the little things were very well done as well. Continental breakfast just before we loaded up on the rafts,,excellent lunch, very communicative staff.

A group of about 10 friends and I have been rafting NW rivers for 25+ years, but we've never rafted the Illinois and wanted to see it before we ran it, so we booked a trip with Momentum. Water levels were less than ideal, I'm pretty sure that there aren't many guides besides Shana, Alex, Derick, and Mike who could have gotten us down that river at that level. They were amazing! Momentum has some of the best guides in the business and runs great trips, already booked two more next spring. Book one, you'll have a great trip and have great memories with great people.

This was one of the best trips I have ever taken in my life. It exceeded my expectations. I absolutely loved how your employees and guides take care of everything and how everything is just so perfectly planned. I love the attention to details. Our guide Mark was phenomenal. He was funny, informative, caring, fun, challenging, and an absolute blast. Although I didn't get to raft with Katy, every time I hung around with her, she was just amazing. I loved every part of this trip. I organized this trip as a guys trip to celebrate my 40th bday and it was absolutely what I was looking for. Thank you for existing. Thank you for your vision. And thank you for helping me have an unforgettable 40th celebration. Best river rafting company in the world!

Fabulous 5 night trip on the main fork of the Salmon River. The guides were amazing - very experienced, friendly, smart, funny -- great companions for the trip -- and amazing cooks. The food was delicious -- appetizers and drinks awaited us at camp each night. Yummy breakfast and lunches. Gear was all good. I recommend requesting the inflatable kayaks (rubber duckies) even if you aren't an experienced river kayaker -- they're easy and fun. We were a group of 25 friends and it was the perfect group activity -- everyone got along great paddling, hanging out and with no decisions, no cooking, cleaning, etc. So much fun and such a beautiful wilderness. Highly recommend - absolutely worth the price.

We did the 3.5 Day California Salmon Charter in April of 2020 with Momentum. What a first class experience from the day we sent in our initial inquiry through the moment we left. If you are on the fence about a trip with Momentum, get off of it and book your trip now! Most of the people in our group had never white water rafted before, or had only gone once. Our guides (Tyler, Mark and Alan) were top notch and alleviated all the concerns the group had. They made everyone feel comfortable, safe and excited about the entire adventure. The customer service was top notch from the top down. Pete (the owner and a guide) was around most of the time and it was evident from all the small little details what a great company he runs. Hearing his stories also was great. Every detail seemed to be thought through and the meals were fantastic. Even the lunches that were served in the middle of the rafting trip each day included fresh cut vegetables, hummus and other great food. Breakfast and dinner felt like you were eating in a great restaurant. We chose to do the "glamping" experience with the sauna and showers and those were exactly as advertised. The entire group was thrilled with the experience and the customer service. The Momentum team seemed to be two steps ahead of anything we could have thought of or asked for at every moment. We wouldn't change a thing about the trip and look forward to returning one day. In the camp Elsa did a great job with everything across the board.
