  • By far Oregon's best State park. Fantastic staff, tons to do and high quality rv sites. Surrounding sites are great, amazing salmon fishing and clamming.

  • This is a really beautiful park and a great camping experience. It's big; something like 4,300 acres with literally hundreds of campsites, a lake with picnic areas, hiking trails and beach access...

  • Pretty cool place. There’s a lot of stuff to see and lots of room to walk around. Unfortunately a lot of areas here are closed because some of the fort the ground collapsed and it’s not great conditions but other areas are closed too even tho they seem fine. Past the fort, there’s an area where you can walk through the fields to the water. Overall, it’s pretty good and fun to explore and look around but it would be nice if more areas were open.
  • This park is a treasure. Good camping sites. At the mouth of the Columbia River, on a lake, at the ocean with lots of trees, well thought out pathways for walking, driving and biking. Laundry mat right outside. We camped. They have lots of yurts to rent. Totally awesome. We saw Elk near the camp.
  • This is a fantastic state park. We were just staying for one night but I wish we could have stayed long. The campground are extensive but we setup and the bathrooms/showers are very clean and well-maintained. We stayed at an electric site with water but no sewer. We didn't need to check out until later in the morning so we took the opportunity to visit the observation deck, the battery and the beach with the wreck of the Peter Iredale. I highly recommend if you are in the area, you stop at this park.
  • Our first Oregon coast trip. We arrived on a Wednesday afternoon and there were plenty of spots open still. Huckleberries all around. Blackberries too. Random elk chilling out in one of the common areas. Walked the path from the campground to the rusted out ship on the beach. Beautiful area all around. It was busy, but no overly crowded by any means. We paid $40 per night. Nice bathrooms and okay showers. The showers are at least nice and hot.
  • We camped at Fort Stevens State Park for a week in November. We were lucky to have sunny weather for the entire stay. The campground can be reserved ahead. We had a full services site which had nice space between units. Our loop had washrooms but we had to go to the next loop for showers. The beach is a mile walk from the campground but easy on bicycles or driving. There are many great trails for bikes through this large park. We visited the south jetty and the Russell Battery as well as the Peter Iredale shipwreck on the beach. We visited Seaside and had great fish and chips in Hammond. It was a short drive to Astoria and some parks across the river. We'll definitely come back again.
