Built for the 1996 summer games, Centennial Olympic Park hosts millions of visitors every year on its wide lawns and walking paths. Many visitors come for concerts at the park's amphitheater, but you'll also want to check out the Fountain of Rings and the Skyview Ferris wheel. Be sure to look down as you walk through the park--the bricks beneath your feet are engraved with messages of people who donated money to build the park. By using our Atlanta tour itinerary planning app, you can arrange your visit to Centennial Olympic Park and other attractions in Atlanta.

The park was closed to set up for an event happening the next day. There were several statues and areas of interest inside. Go when it is open.

Just walking through the park is a wonderful experience. You can take you picture by the Olympic circles. Just lots of happy people

There are plenty of things to see here and it is just a nice spot to wander. It had just been very cold so no fountains were operating, I'm sure it's lovely in other times of year

This is a nice peaceful park even though there's plenty of people there. The view around you is amazing and gives the park so much energy. The park is in walking distance to the world of coke, aquarium, college football hall of fame and so much more. The view at night when the lights come on is great! You just feel Atlanta in this park. Great place for a picnic and to come throw the football with your kids. I'll definitely be going back to write some poetry, read, and even just to chill in a peaceful place. It's dog friendly for all dog owners. Depending on where you park you may have to walk a little to get in the park. Most parking areas are $20 and up to park with no time limit but no overnight parking.

This is such a relaxing fun environment in the middle of downtown Atlanta! When the weather is beautiful you can spend hours playing in the open. The Olympic rings are a great photo op! When we went the water springs were not functional. But those are great entertainment for children! Lots of great restaurants within walking distance of the Centennial Olympic Park.

This park is a worth visit if you are on a trip to Georgia aquarium or the Coke factory. It lies just beside them within walking distance. Parking is a bit difficult since it is in downtown and no street parking is available most of the times. The entry is free of cost for the park. There are plenty of paid parking places around the park from $10-$20.

This is my first time visiting Atlanta and even though I’m just staying for a day I had to come to the Centennial Park. It’s just beautiful! Everything is really clean and organized, the grass is the most soft ever and the ambient is just perfect. Will be back for sure!

Very beautiful park, the good thing is that it is free! The park is clean and well managed. Nice area to walk or sit , kids are able to play and run, worth to see this park as there are several 1996 Olympics symbols spread around the park. If you're going to visit the Atlanta aquarium or Coca-Cola museum, go and visit this park as well.
