Oceanana Pier & Pier House Restaurant, Atlantic Beach

I can't give an opinion on the restaurant as we went straight to the pier, we didn't pay admission but got a beer from the fridge behind the lady at the door, not too cold and $5 each. The pier and views are very nice, although there was also no action with the fishermen. Good stop to see the sea.

I got my beach seafood fix. Everything was cooked perfectly. Our waitress was wonderful. Loved the view and the air conditioning inside was a definite plus! Red Drum, scallops, and shrimp were all perfect. The cocktail sauce totally ROCKED!! We went at 2pm, so parking was not an issue. Seating was immediate and service was fast.

Good restaurant with sea view. They have out-door and in-door seats. You can order to-go and have out-door seats. 2-hour parking if having meal in restaurant. Two entry access to the pier for fishing and seeing sunset. Great place to see sunset

Grabbed a late lunch on the Pier and it was great. I'm not sure what I was expecting but it far exceed any expectations I may have had. I always thought of the Pier as a place the old men go to fish, so I was delighted with the fresh, slightly elevated food selection and fabulous, friendly service. Will definitely be back! Next time with photos of the food. Update: Been back a few times since my first visit. It has been as delightful each time. I prefer the shrimp tacos or burgers. I got the ceviche once but it wasn't my thing. Still highly recommend a pop in... 2nd UPDATE: Their hours have changed, probably because it's after Labor Day. They are closed after noon on Sunday through Tuesday.

The hushpuppys were dry. But the fried shrimp and also the fish was great. The worst part was that the grilled cheese wasnt cooked at all. They just slaped a piece of cheese on bread.
