  • Nothing ‘flashy’ at the museum; but enough interesting elements and memorabilia to make it worth a visit. Even real devotees of Ruth will learn new things about him

  • I am one of those people that absolutely dislikes baseball so I was pleasantly surprised on how much I truly enjoyed this museum, which is actually the birthplace of Babe Ruth. This museum really captures the essence of probably the greatest sports figure that ever existed. This place has such great memorabilia such as signed baseballs, bats and his first baseball card when he was just a rookie. They also have a cute miniature Yankee Stadium on display as well. The museum has a small gift shop as soon as you walk in to purchase your ticket from the friendly cashier. I highly recommend anyone whether you are an avid fan of baseball or not to definitely check out this museum to learn more about this larger than life legend.
  • Great museum. Was birth place of babe Ruth. Has mini documentary films, his bats, his home runs. This is a must for those baseball lovers. Learned about the great babe Ruth. Not far from Camden yards stadium. So a great time to stop by before a game. My sons enjoyed it. Has a mini Yankee stadium design which is neat.
  • Employee wasn’t very friendly. Nice informative museum! Lots of free street parking nearby. They are on Groupon for discounted admission. We visited this museum on a Saturday around 3pm. The street parking at the nearby W Pratt St was free and only had very few cars parked there. The male employee we encountered at the ticket counter in the gift shop wasn’t very friendly (that is the only reason why I didn’t give 5*). This museum isn’t big, but it’s very informative. There are a lot of artifacts on display and a few rooms in the house were preserved to show the original setup. They also have a small theater on the main floor. It has a short film on replay with video clips from different years of World Series Games (just the singing of the national anthem). The main entrance of the museum isn’t wheelchair accessible, but they have a side entrance which is wheelchair accessible and an elevator nearby this side entrance. There is also a small gift shop by the main entrance. We enjoyed the visit to this museum and learning more history about Babe Ruth and MLB. I would recommend this place to any baseball fan to check out!
  • Not a particular baseball fan but went to get pics for my husband. Happily, the information presented was so interesting I had a great visit. If you have time, watch the video on how the Star Spangled Banner became part of sports.
  • This place is great. Filled with lots of baseball memorabilia. Definitely worth a stop in if you are staying near Camden Yards for a ballgame. Check groupon for some discounted admission tickets. Worth a stop in if you are in town.
