Such a Beautiful place for a Winery. Friendly staff and great atmosphere. Do the Wine Flight and set out by the Stream. There was a food truck there also.

Lovely winery next to a pretty stream. Lots of comfortable sitting areas in a variety of settings. Live music. Decent wines to sample. What’s not to enjoy?

Absolutely loved relaxing by the river with my husband while having lunch from the food truck and enjoying the wine! The atmosphere is just wonderful being able to sit in the shade while watching & listening to the river gently flowing by with a nice glass of wine! I personally like that the location is both family and pet friendly as well. IMO there was a good selection of wines and just about anyone should be able to find something to match their taste. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars is because IMO it would be nice to have an on-site restaurant and a guided tour of the vineyards & winery. Other than that, this is definitely one of my favorites and I highly recommend!!

What a fantastic experience! Great wine by the flight, glass or bottle. Fine snacks offered, with an excellent food truck available during limited days/hours. Live music was fun, and the creek that runs through the property is so relaxing. A must stop in the Smokies! Cheers!

We love Grandfather Vineyards. They have great live music every weekend, the setting is gorgeous with a bold stream running through and the walkabke vineyards. They have so much seating including adirondacks, covered patio areas, multiple level seating and tables with umbrellas. The wine is good and the folks that work there are efficient and super friendly and professional. It's definitely our favorite winery in the high country. Get there early for best seating or bring your own chairs. Highly recommend it. Oh and they have a food truck too on weekends.

Such a great experience! The wine was excellent, there was a food truck out front with yummy food and the seating was spread out so that it was relaxing and didn’t feel crowded. We sat down by the water and it was exactly what we needed. We brought some cheese and crackers in a cooler and got a few flights of wine to try! Left with several bottles for home. Highly recommend!!

Big and beautiful winery with an excellent vibe and lots of wine to choose from. We went with a group of friends and everyone got a different flight, so we were able to taste a lot. Sadly, there are wines that are not in the flights and the flights are premade...no customization allowed. My favorite wine was not on the flight, but the cashier let me have a small taste. I like dry reds, and the boulder red was the best one. Staff is very knowledgeable and friendly. I never felt rushed when it was my turn to order and I had questions about the wine. Bottles are reasonably priced at around $25. They also have sparkling wine and really good sangria. Wish they offered the option to get the sangria in a carafe. They sell snacks and cheese board ingredients, but you can also bring your own food. They also have food trucks and live music. There is a beautiful creek to wade around in. Great for kids. Pet friendly. No indoor bathrooms, only porta potties... Which kind of kills the ambience. Everything is outdoors, but there is plenty of shade to sit under... Sadly that is not the case for waiting in line. Wish they offered tours.
