Lux Row Distillers, Bardstown

Our tour guide, Mike, was a balance of informative and entertaining. It felt like touring with a friend instead of a guide. The grounds were very well kept, and it was one of best rick houses we’ve been to. We loved how the side was left open so you can see all the barrels and have a sense of just how tall the buildings were. We also saw how the barrels got loaded and unloaded. The tasting was also very good. I’m glad I purchased the extra tasting for my boyfriend.

One my top 2 of the 9 I visited this week. Incredible scenery. Dramatic rickhouses. Beautiful visit. Maybe the most scenic barrel aging! You’ll see the mash fermenting, the column, the white dog (that you can try)! Tasting was superb!

We enjoyed this well-managed and interesting tour. Our guide, Jennifer, was excellent. We didn't feel rushed, and if she didn't know an answer to a question, she offered to find out the answer for us. I recommend adding the Old Number 7 and the Bourbon Cream to your tasting...they were delicious!

We enjoyed a most informative and excellent tour with Jennifer at Lux Row Distillers yesterday. We learned so much about how bourbon is made and we were encouraged to ask questions along the way. I loved the interactive parts of tasting the mash and washing our hands with the 'white dog'. Jennifer offered to take our pictures inside the Rickhouse which I thought was very accommodating.The tasting at the end of the tour was quite literally a treat since the bourbons are paired with chocolates. Overall, this was a very enriching experience. I highly recommend a tour with Jennifer at Lux Row Distillers!

The scenery here is great and the tour is fantastic. Really interactive and they let you taste the mashbill while its fermenting. Really nice bar at the end for the tasting and the staff are great. It is really new (compared to some others on the Bourbon Trail) but definitely worth a trip.
