Cacapon Resort State Park, Berkeley Springs

Went to a wedding at the gazebo near the Nature Center. The location was wonderful. So much to do and not enough time! Stayed at The Old Inn with 6 families and we loved it! So much room. Very comfortable rooms, good air conditioning, great kitchen and many spaces indoors and outside for gathering. Highly recommend!

I could've spent a few days here, such a beautiful place. The view from the top was breathtaking and worth the bumpy ride up there. The beach area, the benches, fishing spots, and picnic tables around the water we're perfect. They have horseback riding, clay shooting, lots of trails, and a beautiful lodge. Highly recommend.

We have really fell in love this park!! We stay in the cabins when we go and they are newly renovated and very nice. On top of that, the lodge is huge and newly renovated as well! There is a ton to do including hiking, beach, playgrounds, a bunch of different mountain biking trails, indoor pool, nature center, tons of activities planned everyday, and an amazing overlook where you can see 4 states!

Beautiful overlook vistas of four different states is worth the drive. Be warned that the last few miles to the summit is a gravel road that is a bit bumpy so no open drink containers! The resort desk was very helpful in explaining the route and providing the map to the top. Beautiful facility.

This was my first visit and I was highly impressed. The renovated lodge was gorgeous! New this summer is the Almost Heaven swing from West Virginia Tourism located at the mountain overlook. From the Nature Center to the overlook is about 5 miles. The road is paved for about the first mile then turns to gravel. I can’t wait to go back for another visit!
