  • This is closed. I wanted to plan a visit just to go here. Morgan County Observatory Foundation - look it up on Facebook. Too bad area attractions and politicians are not involved in fixing this.

  • Amazing friendly staff that are genuinely interested in their work. We went for a night time star gazing event after the Apple Butter festival and it was really cool to see some stars up close with their giant telescope. They have a whole bunch of fun stuff planned ahead! It may just be best to give them a message via Facebook to see if there are any events planned first since it is very weather dependant.
  • The Observatory is running and is open to the public for scheduled events. It is a great experience, but you must schedule a function or attend a public function to gain access! The entrance is adjacent the observatory sign, when open for functions!
  • You can see it from the road, but we didn't end up going g in because we couldn't find out how to get in to it.
  • Closed still and kind bummed they don't have star parties anymore. We have been here in the past and it has next to zero light pollution!
  • Wonderful open house. Highly recommend. Very educational for adults. Amazing views. Overall a good experience, will visit again!!!
