Biloxi Lighthouse, Biloxi

Nice to be able to go inside a working lighthouse. We climbed to the top of the stairs and the views were beautiful. It was nice to learn all about the lighthouse and area - there is a binder up at the top with some great information and historical pictures etc. It is only open 9-10 am so plan accordingly!

Cool little lighthouse. In the middle of a fairly busy street so felt a bit underwhelming/oddly placed. It’s only open for 45 minutes in the morning, so not a ton to do/see throughout the rest of the day. Makes for a couple good quick photos as you make your way through the city.

Finally made it to check out the lighthouse. It’s only open for an hour in the mornings. They stop admitting people 15 minutes before 10. Admission is $5 for adults. You have to cross the street to the Visitors Center to buy your tickets in the gift shop. If I recall correctly, there are 58 steps to the top. It’s quite small and has a spiral staircase, so I wouldn’t recommend if you’re claustrophobic or get vertigo. It happened to be a really beautiful clear day when I went up, so I got some nice photos.

Very cool lighthouse! On Halloween it was lit up with a purple light on it, also it is located in the middle of the highway, wish you could tour it other hours of the day, but definitely will have to check it out for the tour at 9 in the morning! But a great asset for the coast!

Nice beach for a small stop. Quiet beach. Carry your chair or rental available. Water not so clean. You can do few water sports here. Not very busy beach. Stop while going to Pensacola not while coming back 😝 Nice light house , not sure if you can get it.
