  • This is free, and donations will keep it as a wonderful place for years to come. They have a horse sleigh!! This is a hidden gem that everyone should visit.

  • We had a very enjoyable time here with a group from out of town visiting Blackstone. Had known it was here but had no idea how large the collection was. A great activity for both locals and visitors!
  • More Carriages from more eras in one place at one time than I have ever seen in my life. Very nice collection. Very well maintained. I hope the town continues to take good care of them. Definitely worth the visit if you like horse carriages. Nothing for kids to climb on unfortunately.
  • This is a jewel of a museum that more people should know about. The collection is amazing - not just the family carriages you might expect, but all sorts of working horse-drawn vehicles, from doctors' gigs and tradesmen's wagons to fire engines and sleighs. They are all beautifully restored and displayed with lots of room around them. The Carriage Museum is next door to the Schwartz's Tavern Museum, an eighteenth-century tavern which is both lovely and educational. In addition to authentic period furnishings, it has one of the most interesting staircases you'll ever hope to see. Admission to both is free and kid-friendly. They are worth a trip to go see them.
  • We went and wasn’t open , no one answers the phone or anything
  • Nice small town very well kept in town
