Sky Valley Zip Tours, Blowing Rock

My 10 and 12 year old loved the canopy/zip line tour. The staff is attentive and although I am too tall, and hence, too heavy to participate I observed the initial harness rigging and orientation. I loved how each of the two staff members checked the harness and fitting of the harness and helmet on each zipper. My youngest daughter did the Whistle Pig tour and eagerly awaits the day she turns 10 and hence can do the full canopy tour.

We brought our boys up to zip, and we’re very grateful to the Sky Valley team for staying open for us to zip even though we were the only customers during our time slot. The whole operation was top notch, and JB was an excellent instructor. (We meant to leave him a tip but then got so distracted buying t-shirts afterward that I forgot. Sorry JB!) Needless to say, we had an excellent time at Sky Valley and would highly recommend them. They were exactly the type of zip lining adventure we were looking for. Can’t wait to return.

This is a great place to go zip lining. The professional and friendly staff guide you safely through a maze of exciting lines in the cool Blue Ridge mountains. The three hour tour is a great escape from the stresses of everyday life.

We took our son for his birthday and had a great time! The staff is fun yet professional. All of the hard work is done for you, just sit and zip! Our guides were exemplary. The individual ziplines were varied and unique with a few runs with big views at exhilarating heights. This was a good value for the money and made some lifetime memories for my son.

Highly recommend! We had a group of 7 and it was SO much fun! The staff was super friendly and extremely professional. Shout out to JT, Maddy, and Lily for an awesome afternoon!
