May River Excursions, Bluffton

Incredibly fun time yesterday with Captain Chris! We had a group of 11 and it was the perfect trip for everyone. We stopped and caught some bait first. Chris was a pro at this. Then we went fishing and caught all sorts of things! Crabs, Stingrays, Fish, it was a blast. We ended our day catching crabs and that was my favorite part! Highly recommend this company!

Captain Austin took my family on a crabbing excursion two days before Christmas. The store clerk didn't sound optimistic that our catch would be more than about four crabs. But we were taking along a five-year-old, so I knew the experience was what I was buying, not the crabs. We got seven in the first trap they hauled up. Our grandson was super excited. We ended up with ten keepers and took them to Hudson's where we feasted on crab. Overall, a GREAT experience despite the chilly temps that morning.

We booked a night before our Sunset Cruise on the May River in Bluffton and were very happy to be accommodated. We had a truly great experience with our group of 4 and a really great captain . He was informative, fun, helpful and very accommodating. It's a great way to see the River, learn a lot about the area and hope to catch a great sunset, which we surely did!

Chris and Brandon were great guides with a TON of experience on the May River. They took us right where the fish were biting, pulled us up to the most perfect sandbar, and then took us out crabbing in the perfect spot! These are the guys you’re looking for if you’re looking for an excursion.

Really awesome day out with Captain Chris. Picked us up at the Palmetto Bluff dock which was a 5 min walk from our rental house. Very reasonably priced for a 3-hour outing. Caught sharks, string rays, black drum, croakers, toad fish, and a huge redfish. Our group had a great time, and we would do this again for sure!
