  • The park is a great place to just hang out as well as use as a starting point for a hike. There are so many trails that intersect nearby, you are bound to find one that works for you.

  • Nice view of the city from the top after a short climb up via stairs or graduated unpaved trail. Childrens play area and outdoor fitness equipment at the park at the bottom. Near to Hyde Park.

  • Looking for a good hike? Want the ability to bail at a moment’s notice if weather goes bad? What about sunbathing and a general sunny park vibe where you just want a spot of grass to call your own and relax? It’s family friendly too. Camel’s back has it all and right near downtown!
  • Nice little climb. Wonderful park and great view. We did not use the restrooms. Picnic area seems real nice, too cold and icy to know for sure. Great park for exercise.
  • Moderate hike with awesome views of downtown Boise. Take your time on the way up and it's not bad at all. I would totally do this hike again and recommend it to anyone looking for a nice workout with amazing views. On a side note, the park that's next to the start of the trailhead has restrooms and a water faucet which is nice to have access to.
  • Nice little park with lots of walking and biking trails. A good bit of elevation gain right at the beginning. You can attack it directly via the stairs or you can take an easier path up the side. Provides an excellent view of the city
  • Great park. And the incline is not too challenging. Great colors during the Fall season. Small playground for the kiddies and a tennis court also.
