  • A fascinating drive thru the "foothills" along the river and reservoirs. Drive at least to the Dam. If you are inclined, go up the hill toward the Steele Bridge

  • Such a great destination, just 25 minutes from downtown Boise! Picturesque both the drive and the park itself, gorgeous backdrops paired with a soothing sound of running water. Please make a reservation for their bbq area ( theirs is a big gazebo to guarantee plenty of shade ) for group parties! There’s a fantastic walking and biking path that is smooth and protected with a rail on one side. Bathrooms were clean and the daily fee to use the park was seven dollars. Make sure to bring cash for the service fee. So go, what are you waiting for! You won’t regret it!
  • Love it here, always beautiful, almost ZERO trash...a real gem and just a quick drive from downtown Boise when u just wanna "get away" from the city!
  • Beautiful in the fall! Definitely love it when the water goes down and you can see all the rock!
  • I've been going to lucky peak since I've been a kid and it's still a great little spot to get cooled off. They now have rentals for kayak and paddle board. Rad 🤘🤘
  • Great place to hike with the dog in the off season. Haven't been there in the summer.
