The birthplace of a patriotic brew, Samuel Adams Brewery is a Boston landmark. The brews available change according to the season, but they often include a selection of lagers, pilsners, stouts, and porters. Consider taking one of the daily tours, but be aware that only some of them have a theme or include complimentary tasting. Times and dates for specialty tours, as well as available brews, are listed on the attraction's website. You can make a tour reservation online, but drop-ins are also allowed--so if your reservation isn't accepted online, simply show up and join a group. Loved the beer flight options - created our own… one all IPA and one variety with suggestions from the person working the bar. Also ordered a Bay State Lager for our lager lover. We ordered a batch...

This tour, such as it is, was a ton of fun! There isn’t much to see in the beer-making section, but the beer-tasting was a blast. Definitely worth the $10!

What an amazing signature brewery in Boston. The tour was hour long and pretty informative about the history of Samuel Adams and how they brew their beers and get those notes, etc. Our tour guide was entertaining and funny and made the tour more enjoyable. You get to try different samples some not even available to the public outside of this tasting room and it was a good experience. They do have indoor and outdoor seating both and a cute gift shop where you can shop at the end of the tour. All in all I highly recommend checking this Boston brewery when in town.

This was a great experience. The manager on duty was fantastic. He took a minute to show me the back room when it was slow even though I came on a Tuesday and there were no tours running. Had a flight of amazing beer with a pretzel and enjoyed the large patio. A must see when you're in the Boston Area!!!

Had an incredibly enjoyable tour; Shane made the experience very enjoyable. I would highly recommend the tour; not for the education about the science of brewing, but for the fun that brewing beer is all about! This is a fun tour that will completely satisfy the basic bits of information that you need to appreciate that which makes a quality craft beer!

Brewery was neat to see. I am a huge fan of Sam Adams and Boston Beer Co. I will conitue to be loyal to them. But, I was a little disappointed in the tour. Especially since it was my birthday gift from my wife. The tour was educational but, not very exciting. Saw very little of the brewery. I was hoping too but, sadly we did not. The tour guide was funny and when you did hear him was educational. Too many people in the group. I personally think he over served himself as well. I have been on many brewery tours and this was really worst one on I have been on. But, will continue to drink Sam Adams because they really do make great beer. This rating was based on the tour that we went on and not the great beer they make.

Fun tour to take. The price is totally reasonable because the beer you try during the tour and the beer glasses you get are worth the entrance fee. Also when testing the new type of beer and expressing your opinion(being a guinea pig 🐷) makes you feel important...you contributing into beer culture and development;
