Create an itinerary including Brooklyn Heights Promenade
Featured in classic New York films like Annie Hall and Moonstruck, Brooklyn Heights Promenade offers beautiful views of the East River and Statue of Liberty in Brooklyn’s oldest neighborhood. Brooklyn Heights is the Brooklyn borough's first Historic Preservation District. Its promenade, which opened to the public in 1950, features wooden benches to take in the Manhattan skyline, scenic greenery and flowers to contrast with the city’s concrete structures, and playgrounds for children to enjoy. Take a jog or romantic stroll down the promenade on your way to Brooklyn Bridge Park or before exploring the adjacent neighborhood’s brownstone-lined streets. • Loved our walk along this promenade on a cold, yet sunny morning. Hard to find a better view of the Manhattan skyline. Highly recommended.

  • Very nice calm place to visit and sit. See Manhattans East side skyline. Great photo ops. Water taxis, helicopters, boating, piers, basketball , skating etc... And restaurants..
  • One of the best skyline views you can enjoy for free from Brooklyn. It is extremely easy to access, walk and engage with the vibe. You can choose to walk your dog, view and buy street art, seat and enjoy the panoramic perspective; or simply read a book with a view.
  • What an excellent location to visit day/night. You can stay and watch stunning views of Manhattan from here. Walk over the Brooklyn Bridge and then drop into this location to rest. For autumn visitors, it is a good idea to have thick clothes on cos' it can be way too chilly. 🚨 Bonus: You can bump into a raccoon chewing a brownie or a cake on the street bins! 🦝
  • All I gotta say is: Brooklyn Heights Promenade. If you don't know. Now you know. This place is stunning. One of the best architectural feats in the world.
  • Amazing place to see and visit . Of course the best time should be with Blue sky or during evening or Sun Set ... Amazing skyline of NY . I was unlucky because was raining There are some nice place to eat too
