  • This is a very interesting spot and you'll learn some history about President McKinley and TR who was inaugurated there after President. McKinley's death.

  • The site goes well beyond just being the place where TR became president; it puts the era of Gilded Age industrialization, robber barons, immigration, and the rise of Buffalo to national prominence...

  • A very interesting tour. The presentation describes not only the inauguration but also gives you plenty of historical context. Our guide did an excellent job of leading us through the house and explaining the situation that Roosevelt found himself in. The videos and supporting presentations were great as well. Recommended!
  • This was a great stop while in Buffalo. Extremely knowledgeable staff and perfectly curated home will impress any history buff! Step inside and time travel back to 1901. I would plan to spend about 2 hours here if you do the guided tour. Highly recommend!!
  • The volunteers at this National Historic Park were very helpful and knowledgeable. I learned several things about the site that I didn't know before. The guided tour of the house was wonderful. Lots of antiques and the original desk where Theodore Roosevelt wrote and signed his first presidential documents.
  • The tour was only about 35 minutes, so if you are tight on time this is a great place to go. It was a beautiful building that had a lot of special features that you just don't see today. I believe it was $12 a ticket for an adult which was reasonable.
  • Very interesting and well done. Rangers give a nice tour and leave you some time to enjoy on your own. You get to sit and be the President with photo op. There are various interactive things to do.
