Sunset River Marketplace, Calabash

I've been driving past this place for 20 years, but I guess the signage installed by the new owner finally caught my eye... and I was so pleasantly surprised! It is so much bigger than it looks from the front, and the art being offered is very varied, and something should appeal to just about everyone. Stop in and plan to spend a bit of time enjoying all the amazing art housed here.

Beautiful Art Gallery! The ladies there already greet you with a smile. A great place to meet and buy from local artists and authors. Oh and go check out the jazz night after hours on Thursday night (once a month so be sure check out their calendar of events).

5 out of 5, each and every time we visit. Moved to Wilmington in March of 2020 and found the gallery as we were exploring to area. We have visited at least 10 times in the last year and each time there's new art work on display. We get into the shop and normally stay for at least an hour. So many very good paintings and at great prices for original art work. Staff on site are very hopeful and friendly. They will kindly offer you a glass of wine or coffee as you wonder through the market place.

Very nice gallery of local artist from around NC and SC. Staff so friendly and helpful. One can find art in all different price ranges. We loved this place!

Super cute gallery with a large selection of different art mediums. The building is deceiving in size, but everything is displayed in a way that just keeps flowing from one area to the next. We thoroughly enjoyed our time shopping and chatting with the friendly staff!
