  • So when I called they said to budget 30-45 minutes. I was there for double that. Given that boxing has been around forever, but the HOF has only been around since 1990, I had hoped for more stuff...

  • While this is the youngest Hall of Fame we visited, it clearly is the one with the most heart. It is packed with amazing boxing memorabilia, from gloves, wraps, robes, hand casts, tickets, programs and photographs. For boxing fans, there is such a wealth of precious memories in every step. The rooms were well organized with amazing items. There are two buildings to visit, the 2nd housing the original ring from Madison Square Garden and the gift shop. The gift shop includes a vast selection of autographed and authenticated items in all price ranges. I would be remiss if I didn't mention the staff. So friendly, helpful, informative and professional, starting with Executive Director Ed Brophy. He welcomed us and told us amazing stories about some of the artifacts. He is the ultimate fan and storyteller. He made us feel special in this very special place. We highly recommend visiting the International Boxing Hall of Fame (less than 30 minute drive from Syracuse).
  • What a thrill to visit this museum. To see gloves, robes and shoes worn by boxing's greats, was amazing. And to see the original ring from Madison Square Garden was an extra surprise. Great experience!
  • If someone drives by, they are missing a great museum and memorabilia filled gift shop at the IBHOF. Knowledgeable young employee to fill you in on some interesting facts- clean restrooms!
  • The International Boxing Hall of Fame located in New York is a good stop if your on a roadtrip. Whilst the prices might be a bit ridiculous for the size of the place, It can be a nice place to stretch your legs while you see impressive boxing artifacts. I also love the many signs that provide a detailed history and information of much of boxing. There is also a second section that is free that I can definitely boast to go to. It has the famous boxing ring that fighters such as mohammed ali and Mike Tyson fought some of their most prominent fights in.
  • First time at Boxing Hall of Fame, was hoping to find a fellow Canadian on the wall. No such luck. We went over to the giftshop where there was a boxing ring set up. A young gentleman by the name of Harrison welcomed us and full of information. Harrison you made my visit!! What a wonderful young man.
