Bill and Trevor have made a huge difference in my fly fishing. With their very generous help and advice I am finally having some success catching trout on flies on the Arkansas River. I have been at this for six or seven years in California and here in CO, with no success, after a lifetime of bait fishing for trout in CA and New York. Friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable! This is THE shop. I stopped in and the guy asked, "Where ya fishing?" I told him the name of a relatively obscure creek in the Wet Mountains. He picked out two types of flies and said this is all you'll need. Then, he proceeded to tell me where to park, where how to hike in, what to avoid, the specific technique for this creek, along with a ton of other knowledge. I did what he told me an absolutely SLAYED it. If you want to be successful and have a great time fishing in the Lower Arkansas / South Central Colorado area, stop here first.

I hadba great guide. Had me fly fishing like a pro in less than an hour. Hooked 4 fish fought 2 large trout. A wonderful trip. I'd highly recommend this guide service. My guide was Paul. He was extremely helpful.

My dad, father-in-law, 9-year-old son and I had a terrific experience with these guys. Friendly, knowledgeable and very accommodating. Plus our guide went way out of his way to be sure my son got to haul in his first mountain rainbow. And it turned out, he got the biggest one of us all! Great experience, highly recommended.

Went in after work one day. (I'm a plumber and am dirty after work). The man working stayed within 3 feet of me the whole time I was in the store, arms crossed and kept asking me "what can I help on you find" to which I replied " just looking to see what you have" after three or four times he finally asked me "do you plan on buying anything?" Which I took as an insult or that he was assuming I would try to steal from him so I told him no and left... very rude and I will not be back for any of my fishing needs
