Always one of my favorite places in Canon. The road is pretty narrow and steep, but once you get to the top the view is amazing (especially at night!). Highly recommend anyone passing through to check it out.

Went in with very little expectation but it quickly turned out to be a very thrilling and exciting ride. I highly recommend it if you are visiting Royal George Bridge (~15 min drive). Don't go after sunset though. The road is narrow with no fences on either side and can be dangerous to drive when it's dark, esp. in Winter. The drive ends in Cañon City. If you have some time, check out Cañon City Historic District. It has got some nice places to shop. Autumn's Attic Antique Store and Nirvana Restaurant won't disappoint.

If going to the Royal Gorge Bridge, definitely take some time to check out this drive. They are some amazing views along with a few spaces to stop and explore. Be aware that this is a one-way road, and you’ll drive with caution. Just don’t look down too much when driving.

Great place to go and get a new view. This has a great view of the lights during the sun set and night time. Also a grat place to hike and hang out with people.

What a stunner. Slightly terrifying but if you drive slowly and wait for the pull-off spots you can get out and see quite far on a clear day, and take some amazing photos.
