“No Pier Pressure” / Boating Lessons and Private Cruises

Our mission at “No Pier Pressure” is to provide a relaxed atmosphere for the boating enthusiast looking to get on the water and to enjoy the natural resources that Southwest Florida offers without the added pressure of not feeling comfortable operating a boat, or not wanting the expense of owning or renting one.

What we do:

1) Many folks feel pressure or embarrassment associated with docking a boat properly or maneuvering a boat in close quarters, thereby limiting the amount of time they would spend getting on the water and doing the things they would like to do.

For example: Taking the family out dining and having to dock at a crowded marina; or, taking the kids to the beach, but fear maneuvering around the many other anchored boats; or, offering to drive someone else’s boat that may not feel up to the task.

At “No Pier Pressure” we offer private boating lessons to those that want to start boating and have no boat handling experience and to those boaters that might just want to fine tune their boat handling skills.

We will do this on our boat or yours for any boat 12’ to 30’.

Captain Paul is a certified boating instructor and has completed a course on Close Quarters Boat Handling for Instructors with the National Safe Boating Council.

2) Many folks just want to relax on the water and enjoy a day of cruising, dining, swimming, sightseeing, or tanning, but do not want the expense of owning a boat, or have no local boating experience. Some may want to rent a boat for the day or evening, but then realize they may not feel comfortable due to their lack of local knowledge and understanding of local aids to navigation.

“No Pier Pressure” has your problem solved. Captain Paul has over 40 years of boating experience and has spent the last 12 years teaching boat handling and safe boating. Captain Paul is also licensed by the United States Coast Guard and would be happy to charter a custom-tailored cruise for you and your family/friends aboard our Cruising Pontoon Boat or your very own personal boat.
