Create an itinerary including LEGOLAND California
Build your own Lego experience at LEGOLAND California, a theme park opened in 1999. Modeled on the original Lego-based park in Denmark, this venue was the first of its kind outside of Europe. Divided into several themed sections created entirely out of the Lego brand's popular building blocks, the park offers about 60 rides and attractions, designed primarily with children under 12 in mind. Young visitors can spend hours immersed in the Lego fantasy world of the play areas and wave pools, or take roller coaster and boat rides through models of medieval castles and islands populated by giant dinosaur toys. Older visitors can explore over a dozen restaurants, with menus covering everything from light snacks to gourmet meals for the health-conscious. • All sorts of activities for the kids from rides to build stations to a giant sized Duplo park with slides, a running train, and a pulley ride. One down side is the food. Not that great but...

  • First time visiting, and extremely happy! Very clean, very friendly staff, not over priced for food or souvenirs. Park is on the smaller side but it is geared towards younger children so it was great. Never waited more than 20min for any ride. The amount of detail is absolutely insane! From the mini city to random pigeons and ducks and creatures throughout the park it was great! The kids had a blast, they were excited to see the blocks come to life, and were able to ride just about everything. You can also get wet on the splash pads. Park closes early but we had more than enough time to do everything we wanted and a little more. Well definitely be back!
  • Took the kids here for spring break and it was awesome! The hotel has packages that include park entry. They also can sell you the mini figure (which you can trade with any employee). We went on a Wednesday and Thursday and it wasn’t that busy. I’d avoid Friday through Sunday. The Friday we left it was as busy as we’d seen it. All the rides were fun and we never waited more that 30 mins. While they allow some food and drinks be prepared to buy food in the park. And as expected it’s $15+ per entree. Park closes at 5pm so plan accordingly. But if you are going to go stay at the hotel, it’s right at the entrance, breakfast is included too. Plus they have a bunch of Lego areas for the kids to build. A lot of entertainment and stuff after hours at the hotels too.
  • What an incredible experience. As a long time Lego fan, a childhood dream was finally achieved by actually getting to see the park in person. Obviously many of the rides are catered to kids but we mostly spent our time taking in the incredible builds. The park has much more of a laid back park feel. It's not like those theme parks where you're sprinting from one thing to another. Here you can just take in the beautiful surroundings and enjoy the day.
  • A must to do! A very nice themed park, I love the details of each area, and how there are interactive rides! The park is very clean and organized. Avoid season and weekend times(specially summer time) The water park has extra fees. Also, there are parking fees not included at the original ticket. Plan ahead your trip to enjoy each ride and what to do there. Kids and adults loved the rides. There are age and height restrictions for each ride, check them at the park's map. **Try the Fried Apple Grannies ;)
  • My son and I loved every moment here! Never been here before but we had a blast. I loved that the park had little playgrounds within it so kids can enjoy themselves and just play. It also gives us adults a way to relax for a few minutes before hoping onto another ride! I can’t wait to come back!
