Love the bagpipe at sunset each night (near the restrooms); while there are many people, the sunsets and view are perfect. Patience with parking or park a little ways away and walk. Priceless place.

Beautiful beach with fine sand. It was very clean. There were lots of local people to clean the beach and area. Nice view from every spot. Plus, it has toilet facilities. Dog friendly and has great paths for walking.

I've never been to a single beach my whole life. This year is the very first beach that I visited. I'll definitely go back again once I got the chance. It's extremely beautiful and dog friendly. If you wanted a nice quiet beach with cute little shops around and nice scenery for your photo then I recommend.

Beautiful beach with easy access to the rest of town: big waves, soft sand, dunes, dogs, and a short walk to coffee - what more do you need? There are other beaches nearby that are better for looking for sea critters, but this is the best in the area for relaxing. Never empty, but never crowded. Plus, lots and lots of dogs - we happened to go on Carmel’s Poodle Day.

Beautiful! We were there on a Thursday afternoon in September, so it wasn't crowded. The walk back up the sand hill from beach to street level as we left was a real workout on a warm afternoon. Haha!
