Owera Vineyards, Cazenovia

Cozy, rustic, and charming little vineyard restaurant. We had reservations at 5, arrived a little earlier and they seated us right away with no issues. Staff were warm and friendly, but sometimes a little TMI, with personal issues. The bar is beautiful and packed. Options to sit outside, with a fire pit. There are high top tables, and lower tables. Surprisingly as small as this restaurant is you aren’t shouting conversations. The wine is amazing. The food was hit and miss. The 5 ⭐️ meal was the Burrata Plate appetizer (photo). The dessert was poorly presented and executed as a plate of moldy grapes, a wedge of cheese, then piles of apricots, walnuts, and dark chocolate chopped. Was expecting something more decadent from a winery.

We visited on a recent Saturday late afternoon and were a bit surprised by the very limited menu options. We sat at the bar and ordered a charcuterie board.. it was pretty expensive and pretty skimpy. We also ordered wine flights, there were good wine options to choose from. The bartender was very friendly. I guess I was expecting a little more of an experience.

Stopped in on a whim on Sunday10/9/22. The woman behind the bar was absolutely wonderful! Super host! The wine was great, the place is beautiful. A little disappointed there was no food, but it was a Sunday. The place was packed with only one worker. She did great but could have used help. Over all we had a wonderful experience and will stop again.

Absolutely wonderful experience with Kristen!! We had a wine tasting and she did a great job explaining and recommending everything. She is super super sweet, and kind! The wine was great, the service was fantastic, and I wish I lived closer! 10/10 recommend.

One of my favorite places! The atmosphere is fabulous. Food is amazing. Wines tasting is great! We always buy a few bottles to take home.
