Casino at Harrah’s Cherokee
Try your luck at a game of black jack, video poker, roulette, or bingo at Casino at Harrah’s Cherokee while enjoying your complimentary non-alcoholic drink. Occupying the site of a former theme park, the casino is an enterprise of the Eastern Cherokee Indians and one of the two casinos in North Carolina. We love it. We live about 60 miles away and go quit often. Run very professional, could have free drinks but other that, very classy.

Check in is easy and staff friendly and polite. Gambling is exactly that, I haven’t won any big money but several small wins keeps me in the game. Starbucks staff super polite. Ruth Chris filet literally melts in your mouth. Enjoy fellow gamblers!

Very nice casino. Great food, all kinds of stuff for everyone in the family. Kind staff the drive over the mountain is fantastic views as well. Slots selection is great. There are a lot of new games. Sports book is awesome. The rooms are clean also. Pet friendly would come back anytime.

We stayed here for 2 nights during our trip to the Great Smoky Mountains National Park. We didn't have much of an expectation from the get go, but this 3-star hotel looks dilapidated and doesn't seem to have been well managed either. There was no warm welcome. The room didn't look quite clean, and lacked some amenities like conditioner and body lotion. Carpets are old and torn in places, and foods within the hotel are very limited and pricey and still distasteful. The facility is like a maze and easy to get lost. I accidentally left my travel pouch with cash and cards in the room safe (locked, of course) and realized about it 3 hours after check out. I called the hotel and was only given a web URL where I can make a report online. We were already getting close to the Charlotte airport, and would miss our flight if we turn back. I hoped they would surely find and get it back to me because it was safely locked inside a safe. A couple days later, they sent me a message that they hadn't found it. That's all, without any human touch. What a wonderful hotel.

I came here for my 21st a little while ago, and oh man was that a huge mistake. My dealer was a girl named Thea(I think) at the Roulette table on Feb 5, 2023, around 7/8pm. As it was my first time at a casino, there were some rules I was unaware of. I stepped away for maybe 30 seconds, like I was still in view of her and a man who I assume was her manager. When I came back, they would not honor the full value of my chips, I had $100 worth in $5 chips. Her and her manager only valued my chips at $1 since I took a few steps back from the table. I have no idea if this is even a real rule or if this their way of hustling customers. Not only that, as I tried to explain to them that I stepped away to take a call for not even a full minute, they had zero interest in showing any sort of understanding. As I was walking away, I heard the man behind her, who I think was the manager, whisper a racial slur. I am so disappointed that this was my first casino experience and I hope that management can take steps to train dealers to be a little less arrogant and rude. Awful experience and have zero intention of returning.
