This museum allows you to tour at your own pace and to touch almost everything. It's a great learning experience. I only wished there was someone working in the various period buildings to answer...

We stumbled on this place by accident and are so glad we did. The video and self guided tour through the original site (some original items and some recreations) were wonderful to experience.

Unfortunately the museum was closed when we were at the park however the outdoor exhibits are easily seen from the tow path. Photo shown is not of museum but of existing buildings from the canal's operating era

Spent my time paddling the canal on an absolutely gorgeous Sunday afternoon. Free kayak "rental" was a bonus. Passed flowers, turtles sunning themselves and sunshine glistening on the water. It was a great escape!

Beautiful place to visit and become reacquainted with the past. The volunteers are outstanding & so helpful with information. The canal boat model is fantastic. The dry docks were amazing. Peaceful nature walk to aqueduct. We loved it here & plan to come back.

Love it ... glad it's open again. It's like getting away back in time for a while. My grandkids have fun there. Love that old wagon.
