  • I can't even believe how good the day was and how beautiful the lighting was. We started at around 3.45 PM and it took us 1 hour 10 mins to go to the top. The elevation gain is pretty steady...

  • My husband and I drove through Mount Hood National Forest. It's a beautiful, serene area to drive through. If you are ever in Oregon, the drive here is definitely recommended.

  • Visited Mt. Hood in the summer time and it was spectacular. Weather was nice and was able to hike up to the snow line. Well worth it.

  • It’s really quite unreal. Been up on the National Forest lately? It’s Special. Sure. Do you know it’s your Forest! don’t you forget that. Please try to leave it like you would want to find it, as in a tidy wood, devoid of graffiti, poop bags and busted stuff. Do you know about pack it in, pack it out? How about leave no trace? Some of these things are found on the Interwebs. Study up and ENJOY!
  • Great, easy hike! Dog friendly, there are only two porta potty's restrooms. The parking filled up later in the morning as I returned from the hike. Make sure to bring a wilderness pass or pay online ahead for parking as there's no pay machine onsite.
  • In the first days of our trip, we took nature walks around Mount Hood and enjoyed it very much, we had a very enjoyable time, we took hundreds of photos of the waterfall. Then we saw such neat places and had such different experiences that when we look back, my wife said that it was like a municipal cultural park here, next to the others. In the end, I'm posting this here by saying that every photo with a combination of mountain, stone, water, family is worth sharing 😬❤️
  • American beauty. Just please police your trash thank you. Love my PNW
  • Such natural breathtaking beauty!!! It has been said that there is never a bad day at the beach but no doubt that is also true of the mountains! Mount Hood and its vicinity offers an endless amount of trails to explore, to ski & snowboard, to hike, to bike, to camp, to rent cabins…….. There are Four Seasons of incredible adventure including numerous lakes & waterfalls!
