Old Sugar Mill, Clarksburg

This place was a pleasant surprise. An old sugar mill retrofitted to hold small businesses, all of which are wineries for the moment. It seems during the weekends they have food trucks outside. Inside, there is a good AC going on for those hot days in the Sac Valley. There are at least 8 wineries in the place, many with nice ambience and decor. Do not try but it seems some of the wineries offer brunch in the weekends. The wine was surprisingly above average and tasty. We had a Delta Blanc that was fruity and with tons of complex flavors. Never thought there will be wineries in this area, and I am pleasantly surprise that several of them are really good. This place housed several of those really good wineries in the area. Definitely a place to visit when around the Sac Delta area.

Awesome destination location with 14 different vendors serving great wine and various wine based refreshments. Food trucks on weekends. Beautiful grounds with area for weddings. Located along the Sacramento River in an old Sugar Mill in river Town of Clarksburg, Ca. This place looks like a Disney attraction place in the vineyards. A MUST VISIT if you are out in the Sacramento, Elk Grove area. Accessible from the Delta area along route 160 or off the 5 across the Freeport Bridge.

We did the wine tasting at Scribner Wine. Mark was so friendly and the wine was awesome. We did the flight and it was so tasty. We all got different ones but since I'm new to wine drinking we got a different variety. We loved the mango peach sparkling wine. We bought 3 bottles.

What a great place to meet up with dear friends, enjoy wine tasting and great company! Bump City Wine Co is my new favorite wine company! Isolda, the lovely Sommelier who took care of us, made our afternoon even that much more enjoyable! Her impressive knowledge of wine is mind blowing! She's an absolute joy to talk with.

Rachelle, Christy and team at the Old Sugar Mill where such a pleasure to work with. Their professionalism and dedication were outstanding. Their genuine energy and deep love for what they do showed from the very first phone call to the day of the wedding. Rachelle’s ability to really listen to what we wanted our special day to be and then to take what we said and bring it to fruition was perfection. Planning a wedding is stressful enough but planning a wedding during a pandemic?! Crazy! The team at the Old Sugar Mill made the whole process feel seamless! It’s was like working with best friends and when the wedding was over I missed them all so much! We have received so many compliments on the venue and have been told that it’s was the best wedding people had been to. If we could give Rachelle and team a million stars, we would do so without blinking an eye. Five is just not enough to rate how amazing this group of people are! From the bottom of our hearts, Thank You…….for everything!
