A fishing pier that extends more than 304.8 m (1,000 ft) into the sea, Pier 60 hosts sport-fishing enthusiasts throughout the year. The bait house on the pier carries all the tackle and gear you need for angling. An abundant collection of species swim the waters, including spotted and silver trout, Spanish mackerel, snook, snappers, redfish, tarpon, sheepshead, flounder, and jacks. Along the pier you'll find six covered pavilions and telescopes that look out over the water. The beach offers facilities and family activities. Lovely looking and well maintained pier, right in the middle of beautiful Clearwater Beach. One can get some really outstanding views of the beach, the local hotels and resorts, and the gulf. Not sure if it's regular happening, but on the afternoons I was there, there were vendors selling unique souvenirs and artwork. People are also able to fish off the end of the pier apparently.

Beautiful pier in the middle of clearwater beach. Only $1 to walk to the end. You can rent everything you need to fish here. In the evening they have a sunset festival with vendors and entertainment. Definitely suggest stopping by around sunset or early morning

Absolutely amazing views and beach and water. It’s a great day out. Still don’t get why one has to pay $1 just to reach the end of the pier with nothing much to see there that you couldn’t see elsewhere. But otherwise it’s a great day out with pristine sand water and tranquility.

My uncle took my dad and I here on our trip to Clearwater Beach. Loved the wide pier with plenty of seating and the back portion which cost a dollar to enter offers great views of the ocean and the beach. They have dolphin statues for photos. Seems like a great spot to fish or just casually walk around. They have games right near the pier, souvenir shop, playgrounds, restrooms and food restaurants near by. Overall, I would recommend you checking out this pier and enjoying the breathtaking views!
