My wife and I had a wonderful time here. We spend our time in the greenhouse where we got to see the butterflies in a more natural setting. There are flowers of all kinds from all around the world and different kinds of birds too. There are signs with pointers to what the bird breeds are and where the flowers grow in their natural habitats. We would like to go back one day soon to visit the outside gardens. We enjoyed our rainy day here inside and would definitely recommend this place if you have kids too. We love the butterflies!!

This was such a magical place for us to be able to visit in the winter. The weather was just nice enough for us to be able to walk the outside gardens even though there weren't many things blooming out there. We loved the orchids, the turtles, the birds, and all of the beautiful ways in which the flowers were displayed. We purchased our first orchid before leaving and took some incredible pictures we want to share. If you get the chance to visit here, I'm sure you will get your money's worth! πΌπ

The Cleveland Botanical Gardens was good, not great. I had high expectations for some gardens and was thoroughly surprised by others. The biggest disappointment was the kitchen garden, followed by the Japanese garden. The kitchen garden was installed in the shade and by someone without much knowledge of growing vegetables. The plants were very stunted and lacked vigor. I think it was due to shade, poor soil nutrition and late planting. I could do significantly better, in fact I do better every year in my yard. The Japanese garden was also disappointing. The water feature wasn't working and the arrangement looked like Western design. The species and varieties used were nice, but it didn't have the ambience I expected. The biggest surprise was the herb garden. It was phenomenal. The best garden in the botanical gardens. I wish things were labeled better, but the variety was fantastic. I'd love to see a book or interactive app on the species and varieties present here. The are was chock full of colorful blooms, pollinators, and variety. The glass houses were also really nice. The plants were arranged and displayed in interesting ways and the variety was great. My wife loves orchids, so it was great seeing a variety of those including the vanilla orchid. We're making it a point to return a few times next year to catch several seasons.

Been here twice before and loved it. Came back after 6 years and was a little underwhelmed, but still loved the experience. The gift shop was a little overpriced, but this is the same gift shop who got me obsessed with mushrooms so many years ago. I bought mushroom themed item here again today. I've been here for my birthday twice and I love it. The butterfly room is so gorgeous. This place is so relaxing with extremely friendly staff, beautiful gardens, and a tranquil setting. Will definitely come back.

I would definitely recommend this place for anyone! It did get pretty hot in the butterfly damp room. But overall was absolutely beautiful! There is an indoor and outdoor portion. The outside was all dead, so we will definitely be coming back in the summer, but inside was amazing!
